SCHOLAR’S MATE

Scholar’s mate also known as the four move checkmate or schoolboy’s mate is basically done by the following moves-

  1. e4   e5
  2. Qh5   Nc6
  3. Bc4   Nf6??
  4. Qxf7#

It is one of the shortest ways in chess to defeat a opponent, but it will only work against players that are completely newbie to chess.Don’t try to use this mate against someone who is a experienced player because he or she might be definitely knowing this mate and also its defense.

Also remember that scholar’s mate will only work if you are playing with white because if you take black and your opponent moves something else in the game then you may not be able to play it properly.
